The Rossiter System for Athletes

Developed by Richard Rossiter, Certified Advanced Rolfer and Massage Therapy Hall of Fame inductee, The Rossiter System removes  pain, mobility issues by going to the root cause: tight facia. 

Tight connective tissue (from overuse, misuse use, non-use or injury or age) often causes pain, restricted range of motion and decreased functional mobility. 

The Rossiter System is a systematic approach to deep myofascial stretching, resulting in elimination of most pain issues including low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, foot pain, headaches, migraines, shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, neck pain, elbow pain, hand and finger pain, wrist pain, most chronic pain and mobility issues. 

The Rossiter System is different from other approaches because it attacks the root cause of many aches and pains: connective tissue, facia, that’s become shortened, knotted, scarred or tightened from injury, overuse, trauma or repetitive use. At its very heart, The Rossiter System is built on the concept that the body has an innate system of “space” that allows it to move freely, without friction and without tightness, stiffness or pain. In the body, that system of space is made by properly functioning connective tissue, the tissue that give muscles shape, which connect muscle to muscle and muscle to bone. 


I am a Certified Level 4 (out of 4 levels!) Rossiter Training Systems Coach and I have worked with athletes of all ages. I have found Rossiter to be extremely helpful for both acute and chronic pain as well as maintenance and prevention.


Rossiter is fast, effective and if you don't see improvement of your issue in your session, you don't pay. Many clients often feel an immediate change and lasting relief in the very first session and longer lasting relief in as few as 2-4 sessions. It is not massage, it is not physical therapy it is a team stretching and movement workout. Sessions generally last half an hour and are structured to progress the client from beginner to intermediate to advanced techniques. There is a learning curve for you, the client, the "person in charge," so the more you practice the harder you will be able to work and the greater your results will be.
